I think perhaps Solange got overshadowed a little by all the other Black Excellence happening this year, but goddamn... Not just the durag, not just black as a holy colour, but also the HALO is made of BRAIDS! Inspired!

This is so exactly tuned into my frequency, it's kind of scary... The obvious reference is 'nun', but it also reminds me a lot of what Madame Grès was doing in the 1950's (when she wasn't making her usual grecian gowns).
